This same dedication to the success of our students carries over to our crowdfunding initiative which allows our students and faculty to partner with us in raising funds for the projects that they are working on now. Saint Rose Crowdfunding helps to raise funds for athletic teams, campus clubs, research projects, and more.

How do I know if my project meets requirements?
Please review the New Project Requirements document. Make sure your project has each of these aspects before applying.
How do I design a crowdfunding project?
Please refer to Tips for Designing Your Project.
How do I apply?
Go to the Application Page. Be sure that you've read through the New Project Requirements prior to applying.
Where will my donation go?
Your donation will be processed by the Office of Institutional Advancement and distributed to the group, team, or department leading your selected project.
How will I know my gift went through?
You will receive an email to confirm that your gift has been accepted.
Where can I see updates on the project I donated to?
Once you have supported a project, you are added to an email list for updates. Whenever the group posts new information, you will be notified by email. You can also check the project page for previous updates.
Can I make more than one gift to a project?
You can make as many gifts to a project as you’d like! Each gift will be processed individually and you will receive a confirmation email for each of them.
How do I spread the word about a project?
There are options to share each project at the top of the individual page. You can share the project on social media, by email, or by texting the link.
What is your refund policy?
By making a charitable gift to The College of Saint Rose, a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt not-for-profit organization, the donor understands that charitable donations are not refundable.
What happens if the project is not fully funded?
The project creators will receive all funding, regardless of whether or not the goal was reached.

What is an appropriate funding goal?
The funding goal really depends on what the project is, and generally ranges between $500 - $5,000.
Can I use a different crowdfunding platform for my project?
This platform is the only approved method for crowdfunding projects at The College of Saint Rose. If you are experiencing any difficulties with your project, please feel free to contact Nicole Van Zandt at vanzandn@strose.edu and she will be happy to assist you.

Gifts to The College of Saint Rose are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
We will work with the group to enhance the project to ensure that all funding is used for the given purpose.
